Risk Management Tip:  Use of 2020

January 4, 2020

We all sign and date documents, checks, contract, medical forms, etc. with the last two digits for the year.  However, doing this in 2020 can put you at risk.

If you don’t sign a contract or check using 2020 that date can be easily changed.  For example 1/4/20, that could easily be changed to 1/4/2021 or 1/4/2018.

Therefore, everyone should get in the practice of writing 2020 out every time.
