OF VISION, MISSION AND PHILOSOPHY

Wisconsin Municipal Mutual Insurance Company (WMMIC) has firmly established itself as a leader in insurance and related products and services for Wisconsin Municipalities. The Company's high standards for participation have resulted in moderate growth of member municipalities. WMMIC's excellent claims and risk management services have minimized both loss and exposure. This has resulted in the Company's excellent financial condition. WMMIC member debt has been significantly reduced, and premiums are substantially covered by investment earnings for all participants.
MISSION
WMMIC, a consortium of governmental units organized under Section 611.11 Wisconsin Statutes, exists to partner with members to share risk taking, provide a cost effective and comprehensive range of liability insurance, other coverages, and risk management services to Wisconsin municipalities.
PHILOSOPHY
WMMIC shall have a Board which is representative of its member municipalities. Additionally, professional and competent management will be retained to carry out operations under the oversight of the Board and to assure member entities of effective and efficient services.
WMMIC shall embrace a conservative approach in managing its financial resources. Key features of our financial management shall be loss control, risk diversification, claims management, and prudent investment strategies. Further, so that our resources best meet the needs of member municipalities, WMMIC will strive to tailor coverages and services to the unique circumstances of its members. Finally, to assure equitable treatment of members, charges shall be reflective of the actual loss experience of each.
