Online Training
Our American society continues to become more technologically driven. As computers advance in speed and abilities, they shrink in size, making them a more useful tool for meeting the flexible training needs of counties and cities. In order to maintain a competitive advantage, WMMIC is focused on developing internet-based training for members and their municipal employees. The advantage of e-training, is in allowing employees the freedom to complete training requirements within their own work schedule. E-training is completed one-on-one with a computer, rather than in a traditional classroom setting.
WMMIC created our online training program in 2010. We are partnering with Local Gov U, a leader in the e-training industry. Local Gov U provides the nation's largest selection of city and county government-specific e-learning.
